About Me

So who the heck am I?

Granted, that's really a deeply philosophical question that requires pages and pages of information. But for brevity's sake, I'm an adult learning about life with attention deficit disorder. This blog is my opportunity to share my ideas, perceptions and every day life. I am a writer by training and now, thanks to my position at Mayo Clinic*, it's also my job.

I've never been married (I'm pretty sure relationships require you to pay attention for long periods of time). I won't say that "I don't have children," but I'll say I've never given birth.

My life tends to revolve around figure skating as I'm a US Figure Skating judge and I have problems saying no to someone asking me to volunteer. I help clubs with governance issues and I have the ability to make presentations about bylaws enjoyable.
